This policy covers the Tokyo Simulator: Salaryman Saga mobile game (iOS and Android, including beta versions) and this website. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to make the game better and to email you if you asked us to, we don't sell anything to anyone, and you can ask us to delete your data at any time.

What the game collects

The game collects anonymous gameplay analytics to help us improve it:

• Gameplay events, such as levels and quests started or completed, in-game review answers, session length, and where in the game sessions end.
• Basic device information, such as device model, operating system version, and app version.
• Crash reports.

Analytics are collected via Google Firebase Analytics; crash data on iOS beta builds is also collected through Apple TestFlight. This data is tied to a random identifier, not to your name or email. We do not collect your name, contacts, location, photos, or anything outside the game.

What this website collects

• If you join the email list, we store your email address, the signup time, and a hashed (non-reversible) form of your IP address used only to prevent abuse.
• Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider.

What we do with it

• Improve the game. Analytics tell us where players get stuck or stop playing.
• Email you about the game (new levels, launch), and only if you signed up. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for their own purposes. Firebase processes analytics on our behalf under Google's terms.

Data retention and deletion

Email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete yours. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form. To have your data deleted, email us at tokyosimulator@proton.me and we'll take care of it.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
